Gympie Terrace has changed a lot over 150 years. It has and will always change with the times, starting as a track, with features added over time – a house, a shop, a cafe, cars, telephones, radio, bitumen, electricity, shopping centres, and so forth. Many of the older buildings and features are no longer there, but they endure in the hearts and memories of its residents.
