Mobile Library

Our Mobile Library provides a weekly timetabled service to our coastal and hinterland communities, Thursday through Saturday.
Drop by and browse the collection, pick up your reservation, or return your loans.

Bookings

We can also come to visit you! From retirement villages, local parks, schools, community events, or maybe a bookish birthday party. Bookings can be made for Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Can I browse items and pick up reservations from the new vehicle?

Yes, the vehicle carries library items to browse and borrow, and reservations that are ready to collect. Staff are available to help with your selection, and reserve items you may want.

Can I access free WiFi and use a computer on board?

Yes, WiFi is available and a tablet to access the internet and library catalogue is available for public use.

Can I meet with friends as part of the service?

Yes, you are welcome and encouraged to meet friends as part of your visit to the outreach library service. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and the alfresco area provides additional room to meet and gather with friends.

Can I book the service to visit my community or organisation event?
