Tech Savvy Seniors
The Tech Savvy Seniors Queensland Program - a partnership between the Queensland Government and Telstra - provides training at selected public libraries across Queensland to encourage more seniors to embrace information technology. As part of the Tech Savvy Seniors program, Noosa Library Service has developed a range of programs to suit our own community, including introductory sessions in a variety of areas such as using smartphones and staying safe online.
The Tech Savvy Seniors Queensland program has been funded by Telstra and the Queensland Government through State Library of Queensland and the Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors.
Noosa Library Service offers weekly drop-in sessions of tech help at Cooroy and Noosaville Libraries. Staff and volunteer tutors are available to assist you with troubleshooting and to improve your confidence in using technology. Bring along your own device or borrow one of ours in this informal group session. No bookings, please be aware that there may be a wait time during busy periods.
